Weather Forecast Manual
The Weather Forecast tool displays meteorological forecast data over time in a single chart so skydivers can review trends across a planned jumping period.
Inputs and controls
| Input or control | Explanation |

| Location / drop zone | The location used to request forecast weather data. |
| Forecast time | The time period shown in the chart. |
| Time slider / horizontal scroll | Allows review of additional forecast hours when more data is available than fits on screen. |
| Altitude rows | The altitude levels used to display cloud, temperature, wind, or other forecast values. |
Outputs and display references

| Weather row | A summary of the forecast period when available. |
| Temperature | Forecast air temperature over time. |
| Heat index | Apparent temperature when heat and humidity are combined. |

| Wind direction | Forecast wind direction shown with direction arrows. |
| Rain percent | Forecast precipitation chance for the displayed time. |
| Thunder percent | Forecast thunder potential when available. |
| Cloud cover by altitude | Forecast cloud coverage values arranged by altitude level. |
| Color coding | Visual highlighting used to make trends easier to notice across the chart. |
| Sunrise / sunset markers | Reference markers for daylight timing when available. |
| Altitude temperature legend | A temperature color reference for altitude rows. |
Altitude note
AGL is true altitude above ground level. True AGL may not match barometric altitude because barometric instruments can read differently due to pressure setting, temperature, elevation reference, and atmospheric conditions. Treat altitude rows as forecast reference levels, not as a guaranteed match to a skydiving altimeter.
